Re: Le Mans 2011
Mazda 787b is on at 12:30 I believe but I'll double check. Saturday morning it can take *hours* to get to the track. There's 1 junction on a dual carriageway for the circuit and it gets really jammed up, we've sat in the queue for 3hrs before. Although there are some things you can do, overshoot th...

Re: Le Mans 2011
I intend to be down on the start/finish line for the Mazda demo and the start of the race, so realistically I think that means leaving the Chateau at about 9am with a bag full of food and a camping chair and not coming back for a long time! What time is Mazda on at? Doesn't race start at 15:00? How...

Re: Le Mans 2011

On another note an interesting comment from Audi about Le Mans: 'At Le Mans, one of our cars will cover 325 miles more than an F1 car will cover in an entire season, our average speed ...

Re: Le Mans 2011
Try Dominique at the chateau. Oh yeah, if you've already booked remember to say that you wanna be with the Toyota club, that way we'll all be in the usual place. I have actually wussed out and picked up a room instead of tent, the guy i am going with wasn't into camping, he is not into MR2s either ...

So red as a second best option?
Thanks,
Tony

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] After apexi install - boost problem 1st gear!
have you guys forgot i ran a ct26 and a ct20b on my previous car, lol just saying less load in 1st that EARLY in the revs.... not that there is alot less load overall my point being, your not going to see full boost or hardly any boost at 2.5k rpm in 1st unless your slipping the clutch :eye: Sounds...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] After apexi install - boost problem 1st gear!
plugged the recirc? Yeah i plugged that in as per the last picie http://www.puredream.net/mr2/apexi/ You mean on the apexi pipe not from the dump valve? Yeah i plumbed the dump valve back into the air filter, so it is not boosting to atmosphere. Did you remember to put the temperature sensor back i...

[Mk2] [Turbo] After apexi install - boost problem 1st gear!
Hi All, I have a rev5 Turbo, i installed an Apexi induction kit. Since the install, boost in 1st gear doesn't kick in till 3500-4000 RPM, while in 2nd and 3rd it kicks in around 2500RPM as expected. While installing the Apexi i also removed and plugged the recirculation, as i noticed some oil residu...

Hi Tony, Hi, I am thinking of driving down from Ireland via Cherbourg. Good idea. Especially if you're not sick on board ;-) How far away is the circuit from the camp site? About 11 miles / 20 minutes. Do people drive to the circuit or is there some public transport? We drive to the circuit, but yo...

Le Mans 2010
Hi,
I am thinking of driving down from Ireland via Cherbourg.
I have never been to Le Mans, so just a few questions;
How far away is the circuit from the camp site?
Do people drive to the circuit or is there some public transport?
thanks,
Tony
