Oh, no, you've started him off now, Mr Morris. You are NOT going to like this mental picture (it'll stay with you like one of those nightmares that seems real!). [-X

Re: Tubby Vs M3 CSL

I agree from a low speed they ain't all that. I can bet money on a standard Rev 3 keeping up with a CSL from 0-100. However, even a 350BHP MR2 would not pull 2 car lengths on an M3 CSL from 90-130...its the kind of speed where its just beginning to come into its own :P , where weight is not an issu...

Re: xxxx

Just to clarify, this has nothing to do with the oc and is twosrus specific, so lets not have any slagging of of the oc please or idle speculation. Yeah, apologies. That's the way I read it from the thread, but since speaking to Tim over MSN last night, I now know what was going on. I still think s...

Re: Stalling problem

I'd double check for air leaks again (split hoses, hoses part way off ..) - Ben, it's unlikely to be any air leak, as it's running off MAP and AT sensors, just like a Rev3, so unless there was a major manifold leak, it should still run OK. Just to update everyone on this one. It's my crankshaft thr...

Hey dino, Well it was me who had to pay the 5% cut of my profits, i didn't put my prices up to compensate i just accepted them. So if you sold directly, or one this forum, your prices could be 5% cheaper then? :) Seriously, I'm not trying to have a pop at *you*. I simply think that they're not acti...

Re: xxxx

sick of paying the 5% fee I'ts certainly not my business to disclose reasons etc, but i can assure you there was a lot more to it than that. IMHO 5% is a small price to pay for advertising, order processing, money collection etc and am more than happy with the service and custom i receive from twos...

Re: Anyone tried these strut bars ?

Anyone got these strut bars at all http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m5b0s612p2817 I'm in the market for some new ones and just wanted to know if these were any good. The only thing that worries me is, would the lack of bushes place too much strain on other suspension components ie lower ...

Re: Leda Coilovers

Just had a look at their website, and they list prices for the MR2 (Although don't say WHAT MR2! :?) but no pics of the individual kit (to see what your money buys). They don't list any MR2 kits in the "shop" part. It's probably all there, but I'm finding their site too painful to surf aro...

Re: Best clutch 300bhp

Err, MrT? My old Rev2 got a new standard clutch before it got the top end rebuild and hybrid turbo. Its holding 300ft/lbs of torque no problem, and 302 bhp. If traffic light Grand Prix are your thing though, I'd look elsewhere. (BTW, clutches shoud be rated by their torque capacity, not 'power' - i...

Re: Looking at Cams, which ones?

That is incorrect mate. Whoops! Well spotted, mate!! I'll go and correct it in case people take that as gospel. I would also say in a snapped timing belt instance, id rather take my risk with valve/valve contact being possible rather than valve/piston contact as that is gaurenteed to take out some ...

Enis, if you want something bespoke, talk to me!

But unless you've got some strong pointers as to what you want to do differently, it could be a fruitless exercise.

I don't think they'd entertain you, mate, unless you went through a dealer, or were a race team or tuning centre that could prove you knew what you were talking about.

Re: Looking at Cams, which ones?

Dino how much for a set of 2x 264's please. Normally, they're £450+VAT, delivered, but I can do them for £465 all in. After speaking to chrisK at length the other day on the phone, he also says sticking to 3SGTE specific cams is wise. However there aren't many out there. Only piper I think? He also...

Re: Best clutch 300bhp

I used to really like my Clutchmaster Stage3 (often compared to the Spec Stage2, but much better made, IMHO). It used an organic/kevlar mix for the friction plate, which was great for holding a lot of torque and still being very smooth on engagement. I had over 20k miles out of one with very little ...
