+1
Really liking the idea of a mk3 at the moment and noticed the distinct lack of build threads around.

Re: Frozen windscreen... On the inside...

Might get one of thoSe pingi's myself, although I have to do some leak investigation first as I think some waters getting in through the rear quarter window. I just recently went over all the rubbers with gummi pflege just to make sure all seals are tight. It's quite highly recommended and will look...

Sounds like a good job to me. I wasn't criticizing, just curious. You can rent some booths can't you? not sure how expensive they are mind.

Re: Back in another MR2 - Hi everyone

That's really impressive  Looks like a really nice finish from the pictures. I have a question though. when spraying outside you mentioned dust etc getting stuck in the clear-coat, how do you buff the dust/bugs out of the first layer of clear you applied?

Re: boot lifter spring pressure.

Yes. :thumleft: Thought as much, better keep an eye out for a 3sfe breaking then. I've no spoiler on my car, and just removed the boot spring to avoid the boot lid flying open when the lever is pulled. I did the same but I'm getting a little sick of holding the boot open with my head so I can get b...

boot lifter spring pressure.

Is the 3sfe spring that supports the boot when you open it a different pressure rating to one from a later car with a spoiler? The reason I ask is because when I changed from a factory spoiler to aftermarket the aftermarket one was considerably lighter and the spring pushed the boot up. I now have n...

Really can't wait for this, it looks like such a good game and I used to love san andreas and vice city. Never got on with gta4 though, I couldn't get past the camera being offset when driving ](*,)

Re: Why would you do this?

Is this the price of rev5's now then? Seems like a nice cheap car to me, bargain in fact. Has he actually drilled the quarters? Doesn't mention it and I couldn't see it in the pictures? If not it really shouldn't be an issue as rev5 spoilers come up for sale often enough. Having had a rev5 spoiler I...
