Re: [FINALIZED] PP Style Spats

They were a good fit, unfortunately cannot take a pic of them up against mine as I'm running a toms rear bumper.

Re: North weald drag day

Yeah we gave up on the food front straight away when we saw the queues.
Did seem like the bikes and pro-am draggers were on the strip a lot more than the regular cars.
Hopefully get my car up and running in time for the July one.

Where abouts in essex are you based? Westfields in rayleigh have a good reputation, failing that there's plenty of friendly essex local members who are handy with a set of spanners

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Diff change,

It looks possible but it would probably be easier to drop the box.

Sure Peter or Luke will be along to say how feasible it is in situ

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Engine vibration, felt in cabin.

The mount that is attached at the bottom of the firewall (below the turbo) is prone to stripping its threads and the bangs against the cabin. Try tightening the bolts up but think you may have to get a helicoil kit out

Re: My rev1 turbo tbar

DO NOT BREAK IT! I hear ya buddy. The thought has crossed my mind, the clip is worth £2.5 - £3k alone! Yeah shame they're worth more in parts than whole, think about breaking mine all the time but then think how much work i put into it. Saying that may change my mind the next time it breaks  G...

May have been, didn't get a great look but think it had the raised engine cover
