Re: So the weighbridge was open....

Seem to remember reading somewhere that the dry weight of a rev 2 hardtop turbo was 1260kg, so yeah seems about right :thumleft:

Re: could one of you knowledgeable mk1 guys answer me this

Hi Pete, I was wondering if the connecting water pipes for the filler on the mk1 were 19mm (ID)?

Re: 6M1 Goodwood Green....

They didn't do a goodwood green. There was a couple of variations of green they made over the revisions so would depend on what year your car is. This should help http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k28/ecastle03/MR2%20Board/MR91.png also you would have to allow for 10+ years worth of weathering which...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Where to get an 0.8mm oil restrictor

Ok maybe not blow as such but too much pressure can damage the seals causing them to weep. My bigger fear woukd be too much pressure affecting the ball bearings or oil starvation from restricting too much.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Where to get an 0.8mm oil restrictor

Thanks for the info guys :thumleft:
Read a few stories about guys blowing seals on their ball bearing turbos due to not running restrictors so thought i'd enquire.
I've got a 1.2mm here so i'll drill that out to a 2mm.

[Mk2] [Turbo] Where to get an 0.8mm oil restrictor

Anyone point me in the right direction to get an 0.8mm oil restrictor bolt in the uk.
Most searches result in the u.s or oz, and the ones i've found over here are 1mm

cheers
