Hi all.. How can i test my Rev 3 ignitor is working, keep getting error code 14 ( Ignition Signal - No IGF signal to ECU 8-11 times in succession)

I know all the other parts of the ignition are good, how can i check the ignitor?

My issue is related to my new ecu install and the fact "Mr M30" is hard wired into the body loom... It does not like me messing with the wiring and now constantly sounds.

Its also cutting spark to the engine - for fun!

Whats a dx indicator? Rev3 has no AFm so why the codes?

Rev 1 / 2 have different pin locations.. I'd just sell it and get the rev 2 spec one.

As with most MR2 Turbo upgrade ECU's they are all factory set with Rom Chips (Which really can only be upgraded by sending tham back to factory). SARD probably won't talk to you as is the case with most Japanese companies. You'll find the sard ecu has a dfferent map with removed limiters, upper rev ...
