Its slightly laggy but the power at about 3.5/4k is stupid.. i had to wind my EBC down.
Totally different type of tubby compared to my old CT26

Re: at what point do peeps rebuild theres engines???

if i strapped on a larger turbo (with i/c, d/p, better exhaust), and say hoped for a max of 300-350bhp (with unichip thrown in to take care of the fueling side of things). . i think you'll struggle to get much more than about 300hp without injectors, fuel pump, regulator and a proper ECU.. You coul...

Re: [Mk2 Turbo] Had myself an idea...

Erm... IC to throttle body should be cooler as the air passing through the intercooler makes the air passing through the pipe colder (Hence the reason for an intercooler)...

Re: Lag laggy lag lag!

One of the first thigns i did was to remove the D/P to check if the wastegate was hitting it or if the exhuast wheel had a problem..

I have put the prob down to the size of the cooler.. too big for my lil turbo.. will work great with a big turbo set-up :)

Re: Lag laggy lag lag!

perhaps my tubbys not man enought to pump the pressure around quick enough... maybe a different exhaust wheel might do the job better?? The bount mount works and no pressure is lost but i think (as has been said before) the boot mount is just too big for my current mods.. i dont want to go any bigge...

Re: which induction kit for my tubby?

Apexi kits have been tried 'n' tested and work out to be the best allround.

Best bet is to get an original Apexi one!
