No, according to my wiring diagram.

The alternator itself should be grounded!

Check continuity between alternator casing and battery negative.

Check continuity between alternator charge terminal and battery positive connector.

...If you haven't already,

and keep that top of p4 list updated with all your tests, we'll get it sussed

Check the 10A ENGINE fuse, next to the charge fuse.
