Re: New factory built widebody Monocraft GT300 car project

I owned the blue, sold it, kept in touch the the new owner, he sold it and it vanished, so really don't know who owns it now. Might have even gone abroad. Got my new toy though :) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v709/Alessiogallo/15999_10151310953450218_1916854430_n_zps9132b330.jpg http://img.phot...

How much are they Patrick? That car is stunning! What are the wheel specs? Forgot to mention we also do this, which is a blend of OE Toyota bodykit and Rogue Motorsport wide arches: https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/428248_10150724374436085_679451084_11346598_1543302003_n.jpg http...

Re: steering wheel wobble

who did th egeo set up? sounds like you need 4 wheel alignment, not just your crappy 2 wheel alignment most places do.

Re: Car back from paint fully restored, couple of pics

Have you still not managed to sell it then Alessio? Nope decided to finish it first, quite happy to say it turned out pretty good :D Grabs a lot of attention for a Toyota, quite funny really when you tell them what it is. A lot of general public think its Noble for some reason. Wish I could afford ...

Re: Good suspension specialist in Birmingham?

Quite a few people metioned toeing out the rear both on spyderchat and driftworks, so went on the recommendations of a guy over on spyderchat, was £25 to trial it, so far it does feel more stable at speed, ultimate test will be motorway driving. Still i think it needs more work or development, would...

Re: Good suspension specialist in Birmingham?

Have had the rear toe settings changed, on some advice from spyderchat, the car now feels far more stable, still slightly wobbly, but i think thats the tyre walls being really soft, when you close the car door the car wobbles side to side :D I only got to 50 test it at 50 but it felt far more stable...

Re: Good suspension specialist in Birmingham?

Sorry for late reply, the sensation im getting is it feels like it wants to steer from the rear if you rock the steering wheel side to side it feels like the back end wants to come round on itself, really scares the crap out of me. Suspension are BC coilovers, with rear adjustable, track, toe and tr...

Re: Good suspension specialist in Birmingham?

will try the place that originally did it for me over in Dudly on the weekend and forward them the info i gathered from Driftworks and Spyderchat. I am determined to crack these handling issues.

Normal road driving is fine, its just motorway that leaves skids in my pants

Good suspension specialist in Birmingham?

I have had my car fully aligned, and whilst it says its good, it does not give me confidence driving it above 70mph. I really want it to feel planted on the road. Have tried lots of different combo's of tyre pressures but still struggling to get it right, speaking to people over on spyderchat they m...

Re: 2zz-ge engine with 1zz crank

If you get the power FC you won't need the whole imob thing. Best bet is buy a complete package i.e rear end celica or even just buy a used celica gt-s or corolla tsport and break the rest. Can be had for around 2k. All the swap bits you need can be bought from either monkeywrenchracing.com or Che o...
