I was thinking the same thing but who the hell would read it??

The only way to get any response is to ruin another thread. No-one wants to know.

Re: guitar hero wii vs xbox

Sometimes I've failed before a note has even appeared on the screen.

Bloody frustrating.

Re: guitar hero wii vs xbox

Only had the game for a few weeks and it's frickin awesome.

I've never noticed a timing issue on the Wii yet (most of hard completed on World Tour) but I do get annoyed when it just starts knocking your life down before you've even touched a button.

Has anyone else had this problem?

[Mk2] [Turbo] Clattering IC

I've been trying to locate the driver side rear clunking noise for a while now. Whilst having some bits done the mechnic believes it may be the Greddy IC banging around (fingers crossed) I'm yet to have a good look myself but understand these are only bolted at the top. Anyone had the same issue and...

The Penta are very smart but I'm looking at the Epsilon for the 2.

Re: [All] [Generic] Split wheel nut

Bad news for me.

The only way the nut came off was by drilling round it so the alloy is now completely bu88ered.

The nut was chiselled off and luckily the hub and stud are fine.

So, a new set of alloys needed. Fairly cheesed off tbh - all this for just a stupid split nut.

[Mk2] [Generic] Honda Accord alloys - with PIC

Has anyone fit the 17" Honda Accord alloys to their 2?

Any pics or comments would be great.

Re: [All] [Generic] Split wheel nut

Cheer lads.

I'd happily drive somewhere but I have no MOT at the moment...not bothered as I knew it needs all the braking components doing...so I'm in a tricky situation.

Never mind. Looks like I'll have to stick my hand in my pocket. Just pains me when it's all for the sake of a wheelnut. :(

Re: [All] [Generic] Split wheel nut

Right, can't get a socket over the top as alloy's in the way. Tried filling the nut with the wrench inside...didn't work. Tried heating the nut to expand and getting if off with a larger insert...didn't work. I think my only option left is welding. Does anyone know of someone that could lend a hand?...

Re: [All] [Generic] Split wheel nut

Internal drive...exactly. And a much better way of explaining it. I would love to hammer a socket over the top but externally the nut is round. Great isn't it. Really not sure I'm gonna get out of this tricky situation??? Annoying when I've got my 4 new discs and pads just waiting to be fit and I ca...

Re: [All] [Generic] Split wheel nut

The actual wheel nut.

The nut is split about 1/3 of the way down one side but there remains 2/3 of it unsplit on the thread which happens to be behind the alloy.

Because it's split opened slighty the wrench simply slips when inside.
