The car will be coming out of hibernation in a few weks so i though i would give it a makeover inside and out for the coming 2013 shows! its easily doable! i used ford boot release hinges as soon as they get live they smap open, perfect for oppening the door! also you can put the switch in the Rear door glass plastic, so its actually quicker to get in the car. remeber your need an aftermarket alarm tho, otherwise anyone will be able ...

this brings back memories of when i got my first mr2 Turbo.
as said, check everything is there, especially check oil/water levels.#
And do not boost when going round a bend in the winter, a certain rear end will step out!

Cars now tucked up for winter.
The plan is to detail some more underneath and if i can get hold of one for a good price, fit a rev 3 engine.

are you looking for a bottom end? i have a rev 2 bottom end, sat in my Garden. comes with crank pistons etc. just want it out the way so say £30. (by the way the rev 1 and 2 bottom ends have slightly thicker walls)

Hi guys, is there anyone with a mk1 mr2 that would like a set of twin low irise lights? just seeing if there is any demand for them?? and also if anyone has any spare mk1 lights i can practice on to make a set. Think apart from trying to get the rear lights complete before the next show, thats it this year.

Got the car working again after the dreaded red battery light came on - Alternator failure. only took bout 2/3 hours to swap, definitely not as hard as people make out! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v626/sturgesst/Photo0237.jpg also replaced and painted my rear arms, front next to clear my wheel...

hard to tell really, unless you measure it with a more acurate gauge. plus i havent got the fans wired to a hard switch yet
