hi mate if the check engine light flash quickly then that means knock. if it flash's slow then it means you have reached your injector limit(maxed your injectors out). this is how mine is set up by Ryan knock in 1st gear? would have thought knock would be on the higher gears rather than only in 1st.

I totally understand, I know how many time wasters there are, but for insurance purposes (which I am very particular about) I cannot risk driving back from london in a car with a cage, as insuring it would be prohibitive with one, and it is something I simply do not want on the car. my greddy profec b II reads approx 0.05bar lower than my defi boost gauge.

i tend to stick with the boost controller reading as that is controlling the boost?
