you stuck an aftermarket turbo and gained less power? i assume you mean filter? maybe heatsoak on dyno? were both runs on the same dyno? and were they done on hot or cold days? why get safc and fuel regulator when you can just get power fc and remap for a bit more? safc to reduce fuelling will not g...
if your spark is not strong when you had it mapped and you changed your spark plugs or leads after the mapping session lets say.. would you then need a remap? could the increased spark lead to DET or running lean?

shouldn't pop, plus the actual outer cap should be close so it can't pop fully anyway.
i use to make it click a few times. then i got stuck in a petrol station once and had to use a big clamp to get the cap off. ever since i just do it hand tight just before it actually clicks. fine ever since..
