Cheers Gav :D

If you want to stick some pointers on a post or PM me that would be much appreciated :)

Going to get it set up fully on the dyno at the same time as having the car remapped.

Quick question, when you fitted your EVC 6 which wires did u tap into for the throttle input signal and rpm/speed input signal, having trouble finding them.

Re: Clean and Lowered on Teins

Not really, I got my local bodyshop to mix me some in a rattle can for small work. When I took my VS kit off I had to get some new side strips/toblerones for the front which were black. As you can see the colour match is almost perfect.

Re: Clean and Lowered on Teins

Thanks Guys, the front bumper is really stone chipped, you cant tell in the pics. Also where my VS kit used to be attached there are a load of screw holes, getting the filled and painted :)

Was recommended Et43 on the rear but can always space it out if im bothered. Sits a couple of mm within the arch.

Re: 8" and 9" staggered with tien superstreets question..??

Ive just put some superstreets on mine with 8x17" ET33 at the front and 9x17" ET43 at the back.

Havnt had it aligned yet but clearance seems good.

Bought from Rogue

Daym, sorry about your mapper

Engine looks sweet though!

What size intake pipe fits that, looks massive, lol, does that come with the kit?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Opinions on these turbo kits

Ooooo thanks! Shame about the oil pump.

Out of interest, how long did it take for your turbo to arrive from the states, if you ordered it new from KO?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Opinions on these turbo kits

 Yeah quite a few people have said that. But for now I think im going to go with either a T3/T4 in 46 trim or GT3071R most probably the latter. In either case will be getting one of the KO racing street brawler kits as I havn't found a bad review yet. Just waiting on a reply about lead time.......

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Opinions on these turbo kits

Well I have a bike for going about on, so its not really an "everyday" car in that sense, lol. Trying to get into the whole drag racing thing, went to my first RWYB day and really enjoyed it, wish Santa Pod was a bit closer but will have to make do with York. Its already running an uprated...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Opinions on these turbo kits

So whats the spool like on a GT3071r then? Like you say bolton I like the idea of having scope for the future, but dont want to get that instead of the T3/T4 if the spool is going to be really bad in comparison. Andy, think 2 bar maybe a little much for an everyday car that spends most of its time o...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Opinions on these turbo kits

Thanks for the reply, do you mean the boost would have to be high on the gt28 or the T3/T4.

Dont want to run massive boost pressures to meet my aim.

Maybe 1.5bar max?

[Mk2] [Turbo] Opinions on these turbo kits

Hey All Mid april im going to be getting a larger turbo to complement the forged pistons and EMS i fitted during an engine rebuild. I know that chasing numbers is a bad habit but I would be happy with 400bhp at the flywheel. Both the T3/T4 and GT30/35R street brawler kits made by KO Racing have caug...
