Re: Protane Bumpstops (with Pics)

Try to find out what Toyota bumpstops are in lengh, I know they should be fixed to a gaitor but that normally fails off at some point and I've thrown mine away now.
My powerflex ones although one piece do look around the same lengh as your two together.

Re: Protane Bumpstops (with Pics)

I'd say its looks correct to me,unless i'm seeing it wrong, if you had a bush on the other side it would be against the topmount. I've just fitted powerflex bumpstops with boots and looks the same as yours. The pic does not seem to relate to your car. I'm sure somebody will correct me about this if ...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Yeaha, found and fixed the poxey rattle on the front suspension

Loosen th topmount nut before you start to take them off if you can,A windy gun does this very well as the top plate and damper shaft will try to spin when you loosen the top mount nut at the same time. If you have shorter springs the you probably won't need a spring compressor,at least on the front...

It took me 2.5 hours for both sides, have these off before when trying to find the clunk so it was an easy job and just took my time, also fitted poweflex suspension b spring top plates came from Tcb.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Yeaha, found and fixed the poxey rattle on the front suspension

Can't believe how much nicer it is to drive, shall go for new struts when funds allow though.

Can now focus on polishing just fitted rev3 lights and greddy front spoiler to be fitted and painted along with Toms rep side skirts (think its Toms)

Re: How easy/hard should it be to push a Yellow Bilstein damper in?

On my rebuildables one goes in then out, the other goes in and stays in,buggerd me thinks.
I'm told that some dampers are one way and some are two way, ie in and out.
