Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] new gearing

Woodsport do a longer 5th gear, although it only talks about the na gearbox. http://www.woodsport.org/joomla/index.php/engine-conversions/50-lsd-gearbox/21-lsd-gearbox.html As for destroying most bikes, don't pick on anything above a 600 or anything with gsxr/r6/ninja etc on the back......unless its a...

Re: upper steering column play

I have tried to do the string trick but have not really found the right bit to put the string into, I do have vertical float of the shaft the in the housing,so its either find out exactly where this string goes or totally pull apart upper steering column and try to pack out. Or I may just attach the...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] front numberplate

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJZJ_oIETAw Thats what I want! I`d go for standard jap size plates for road use, and when you want to go plateless for photos/shows just press a button. I've seen this sort of thing on bikes for covert stuff  ,cops caught the guy and he was in a world of pain...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] front numberplate

Wouldn't mind trying a stick on plate when I get an aeroware front lip sorted, not sure what an import letter size normal plate (Ie not square 2 line) size would be or would it even fit on the Aeroware :?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Goodbye Mongoose and Teins - Hello Nur Spec and BCs

Yeah the Tein S springs gave a wicked stance. Similar drop at the front to I have now in the photos above. Rear on Tein springs were slightly higher though MM that could work as my rears are 245's and yours look like 235's so a slight lift on the back would balance the front. How's the "cough&...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Goodbye Mongoose and Teins - Hello Nur Spec and BCs

Out of interest whats the distance between the centre of the wheels to the top of the inside arch, I have the same wheels with -30mm Apex springs and was interested as mine are at 330 front and rear.

PS car looks very nice with them wheels :D
