Are there any noticable problems if i put yellow billies on the front and black billies on the rear of my tubby? Or do you have to use a car set of either black/yellow?

Any help on this would be great.

Thanks

Dan

Cold start and ST2 wire

My car has had some starting difficulties for quite some time now. I have ruled out CSI time switch by replacing it. I have ruled out CSI itself by testing it with battery voltage and it sprayed just fine. As a result I lost my eyebrows. The problem is that CSI is not getting voltage when I start th...

Re: Is it best to get genuine.............

Hi all collecting the last few parts to do my 400-450bhp rebuild! I now need a water pump and bottom end gasket kit! Is it best to get genuine? Ive seen BGA gasket kits, whats those like? For oil and water pumps ALWAYS go OEM! You do not want to ruin engine to save 40£. Possible inferior quality ch...

Ill get usually 20% off. And as an added bonus (or result) the salespeople recognize my voice over the phone and remember the vin code... :D What dealer do you use? 20% is what I am used to getting with other makes, so what is wrong with Toyota. I do not have to give my vin number as I give them th...

Re: Hel braided brake lines

I bought one set - all the fixings are very fragile plasticky crap. I drive my 2 only during summers, but I quess some subzero temperatures whould brake the fixings quite fast.

Also, since the car is to take some track abuse I just got got set of proper OEMs instead. Dont waste your money...

Just bought and received some HEL braided lines i have bought the full set but looking at other kits the rear fixing points apper to be missing, there 'should' be x 2 lines i think with a part with x 2 bolt holes to mount the rear lines to the car (sorry if this is a really bad description) these l...

Re: Passed my MOT!! Required "some" welding...(pic heavy)

Hi, Yeps, thats where they go first. I had my car re-painted this year and it required about 80 hours of welding - basically everything was re-done under rear bumper, rear arches, everything below both doors, switched both doors etc. I thought it is smarter to invest more and get rid of all the rust...

Re: Rust repair and arch replacement

Hi, Unfortunately, if there is rust on the surface somewhere, it probably means that there is lot more hidden. Car might be already beyond repair. Behind the rear bumper is usually the worst spot, so take off the trunk lining and check the seams between the wheelarch and the body. Also, check both r...

I got sick of valve cover leaks because philips heads always got loose on the track. I ordered the hex set from link above and been happy ever since.

[Mk2] [Turbo] Needed - Rev 5 wing

Hi, I am currently in process of having some bodywork done and car totally painted - which enables me to do some slight improvement - I have been seriously considering rev 5 wing, but local stealership quoted over 2000€ for it. Are there any sources for wings, either genuine used, or replica...
