[Mk2] [NA] Quick question - Brake pad size for my car ? (rev 3)
Getting Yellow Stuff again but it's been a while since I've replaced them, so I need to know the size and cannot find the post which stated them. I'm pretty sure the car uses the 'turbo' sized pads and discs iirc. Front: DP4995R Height: 57mm Length: 141mm Thickness: 15mm Rear: DP41107R Techni...

MK2 - Wing Mirror Glass replacement.
I need to replace the glass in the drivers side wing mirror housing, and I just wondered where I can buy one ? I've had a search for how to remove it so I should be ok in that sense, although will a new one have the correct fittings ? This is for an imported car with the electric folding mirrors (if...

Stuck the camera underneath it earlier to see roughly what it's like... looks like the current lip is held on with zip ties

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Fitting a new front lip ?
Cheers,
I'll try and look at it at least today, sounds like it's worth picking up some nuts and bolts from a local tool shop.
Is there a particular size you'd recommend ?

[Mk2] [Generic] Fitting a new front lip ?
Hey guys,
If I get a chance this week I'll most probably try and fit a new front lip I picked up.
I'm just wondering before I start trying to take the other one off if there is anything in particular I'll need ?
ie: any adhesive etc

[Mk2] [NA] Suspension adjusted & alignment done - at W.I.M today :)
So I had been meaning to pop up to Tony and the guys at http://wheels-inmotion.co.uk/ for about a year now (since I fitted the BC Racing BR series coilovers), however multiple things just got in the way until this week ! I wanted the guys to take a look at the ride height, and typical geo set up as ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Causes of a high idle?
When I had a high idle issue (for 1.5 years!) it turned out to be the garage which put the wrong thermostat back in my car, one which runs a different temp to standard.
Could be worth checking that out.

Re: Brake pads - Yellowstuff/Porterfield/Carbotech/Hawk etc
I have to say that I am royally disappointed with my yellow stuff pads. Bought them new with CRN grooved disks and they feel dangerous despite 2 brand new front calipers and the backs working ok. I will retract this if it turns out that my brake servo cylinder or another component is duff...... Eve...

Re: Brake pads - Yellowstuff/Porterfield/Carbotech/Hawk etc
Cheers for the input guys. I guess the trouble with saying X is good, and Y was bad is a tricky thing due to multiple factors. ie: was the brake fluid fresh/discs good condition etc etc dantheman: I was quoted £60 to change discs & pads. I've got all the kit to do it myself but I don't know if I...

Brake pads - Yellowstuff/Porterfield/Carbotech/Hawk etc
Hey guys, Apologies for 10000 posts/questions on this stuff. I'm just about to revitalise my brakes, and I've hit a bit of a conundrum, which really comes down to price. My current set up on my rev 3 NA, are standard discs, yellowstuff pads and motul RBF600. So I'm sticking with new, standard discs ...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Brake discs q's
I guess you're probably right about the issue if they don't fit BUT it does say they are the correct sizes from what I can work out.
I'll have a think about it.
I guess the next logical question...
Has anyone bought the disc's from Camskill before ? (thoughts?)

[Mk2] [NA] Brake discs q's
I need to replace my discs and pads on my NA, rev 3. Pads are sorted out, Carbotech AX6's but the disc's I just wanted to check if these will be ok: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280085620405&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en#ht_1134wt_1396 Front =...
