I did mine last week with toothpaste and then a silicone spray. It took all the surface clouding off and came up shining. A week later, it still looks good.

It says on the advert that the light pattern is generated by the reflector which allows the lens to be clear [as in modern cars] which makes good sense.

A good set Osram Nightbreakers in these mate and it'll be like driving in daylight

All credit to Rob's kit, everyone I've met says it is spot on and needs very little adjustment. Worth the extra pennies to save on the hassle of fitting.
