Re: Head light not raising up

Check the bracket that attaches to the body. The headlight hinges against this and can move forward with it if there are some bolts loose.

Re: ARB Question

Definitely go for Whiteline ARBs, they reduce body roll massively and improve handling. A must if you are using it for the track, Karl.

Re: Brake fluid change

Buy a Gunson eezibleed, it turns a brake fluid change into a very simple and quick one man job. I got a similar one as well Harold, simple job [after a bit of faffing around trying to fit the reservoir seal] but no pedal pumping needed and it was 20psi. @JasonGTR - The one you have sounds as if it ...

I assume from your ad they will have all the car details, he has your name and phone number and once he has your address he can ring the vehicle or even look to get credit details to clone an account/steal your ID. I agree with FormySin, be careful as the buyer seems to be avoiding reasonable reques...

Re: dry or bripping t-bar, lets have your votes.

I take the glass out at the beginning of summer and clean the rubbers then treat with Dubbin [a leather treatment type wax- non petroleum based]. I then do this at the end of summer to keep the rubbers flexible and stop them drying and cracking.

Since I had the car, it's been dry as a bone. \:D/

Lee, drop Jim-SR a PM over on TB. He seems to be the guru when it comes to suspension.

Re: Skitty handling mk 2

I had the same problem, turned out I had 10mm of toe in on the rear OS wheel, and 3mm toe in on the NS rear wheel. I'd get your tracking checked by a decent garage I agree, this will definitely cause the tail end to drift, so it is worth your visit to sort out the geometry even if it's for peace of...

Re: Fully comp of TPFT

If you total your car you will be able to salvage a few hundred pounds for the bits, maybe a lot more, or use secondhand bits to fix. If you take off the excess and the "insurance undervaluation" factor, you wont miss the FC cover. I would go TPFT, if you can get windscreen and Uninsured ...

Re: Question about Arch rolling / cutting...

for the price some of the people charge, you could buy a decent arch roller. I agree you can even hire them for around £25 a day, easy to use as well. The only issue is if you want to flare the panels it takes experience to get it right first time. Other than that rolling the arches is simple and l...

Re: Question about Arch rolling / cutting...

The arches can also be flared to give extra clearance but it will stretch the panel and there are limitations.

A company called Arch Enemy have been recommended by several members and will come to you to do the work. Details and pics here http://www.archenemy.co.uk/?page_id=35#Toyota
