Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] ferrari f430 replica

I would start off by making sure the donor was running sweet. Fix any problems before you begin. :thumleft: That's good common sense advice. :thumleft: I'd suggest an import as they tend to have weathered better but get the sills and arches checked out beforehand. Most mechanical issues can be rect...

Re: Toyota OEM pads?

I wouldn't touch any pads made by EBC. Interesting, as it's not the first time I've heard this. I've run Red stuff all round (which I preferred) and now I have yellowstuff all round with a Wilwood Big Brake kit upfront, master cylinder stopper and HEL braided lines on all corners and they are fine....

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Wheel offsets and coilovers

Hi Gavin, I ran 8JJ front and 9JJ rears when it was in standard body form and the coilovers actually gave me more space. The wheel specs are here http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=182948&highlight=rays If you want to call round to mine and try your new wheels with my coilovers then yo...

Yep. Better off installing a small switch so you can revert back to normal behaviour easily though.
+1 :thumleft: or simply install a fuse holder and replace the fuse if needed.

Re: Spongey brake pedal

Has it got ABS? I've heard that the auxiliaries in the system can trap air if not bled properly.

Only what I've heard I can't honestly say that I've experienced it.

Red Mk 1 on Top Gear

It may have been spotted before but a red MK1 reg ?208 CUH parked in the forecourt of a Shell service station that the Top Gear crew use to get food as part of a challenge. This is the episode where they take a Citroen CX, Land Rover and Lotus Eclat and turn them into motor homes and then try and ge...

Hi Sean,

I've got the relay and cluster from Chris so PM me when you want to collect. Evenings after 5pm are probably best. :thumleft:

Good luck to you Mike ...... and back to the original question which seems to have been lost a little .... feel free to post up some pictures and log your progress. Recently, I saw a 430 coupe rep parked outside Harrods (I live nearby and see the authentic ones on a daily basis) and if I'm brutally ...

I disagree Jim. Both myself and Shinny have them on blue MK2s and they look spot on but the difference is we have red USDM corners which seem to set them off far better.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Headlights don't pop up properly

One of 2 things possibly Sean.

Either relays or wiring but as ity affects both it's an idea to look before it gets to where the loom splits to each unit.

Cluster switch is on it's way out so is not connecting on the 10th time.

John.

Grey T-Bar Blinds

I've a set of grey T-Bar blinds in excellent condition from my Rev 5. Not only do I never use them as I prefer the light from the roof but also I have dry stored them in bags.

£20 collected (I'm at JAE next week) or postage at cost.

I'll post up pics shortly to confirm condition of the items.
