Re: Rev 4 caldina swap q?

The downside to the Caldina engine is the toothpick rods. Makes the car rev happier than previous generations, no where near as tough. If you're concerned about the rods, swap them for forged. Not that expensive to do and then you really do have an awesome setup for power. Otherwise run 300 all day...

Re: Rev 4 caldina swap q?

All you need to do gearbox wise is to ground the neutral start switch (NSW) pin on the ecu.

Good to see another Gen 4 motor on the road, mine's been lonely for too long

Grey Rev 5 Birmingham city

Just seen a stunning grey 2 in the city centre near the jewellery quarter, don't think it was a factory colour and looked in lovely condition, Rev 5 spoiler and I think Border kit.

Anyone here?

Only just seen this mate, congrats on the purchase  Before I bought mine I'd driven and sat on quite long journeys in a friends T-bar, nice feeling of spaciousness-ness, alas it leaked..badly and looked a bit grotty, I guess the rubber was going hard. Very nice car and best of luck with the sale. Its good to see prices of good examples on the rise. I hope you get a quick sale and for your asking price as I can appreciate the cost and care that has gone into your car's final iteration of development. Thanks Tony, appreciate the comments. That meet in the last pic looks familiar. :) 1 day short of 11 months ago. Hopefully the car will stay in our community and not disappear into a void.
