Re: Frozen windscreen... On the inside...
Had exactly this problem this week with the sub-zero conditions..... have now invested in the Pingi. Pingi Power!! 10.75 delivered. Thanks for the link! Poor rev1 was so iced up on the inside, I felt like I was in the walk-in freezer at work. I'm going to redo the cling film method when I can feel my...

Re: Air filter/Induction kit
I love my Apex'i like a fat kid loves cake. Brilliant..... I love my K&N 57i kit which gives an awesome sound, but even better if you keep the air box restrictor - sounds more rorty but probably didn't do me any favours with restrictions. I've found torque is a little less with 57i but maybe I'...

Using an auto for Track days
Hi, I can only drive automatic cars - have an auto Rev1 - and wondered if anyone has used an auto MR2 on track and what experiences have you had? Obviously manual is better and gearing is different with the 3-speed with OD, but what about gearbox wear for the lazy box?

[Mk2] [NA] Heater weak but blowing hot
I've done a search but not come up with much. The heater on my rev 1 T-bar auto is now quite weak, even on full power. It takes ages to clear the screen now in December, not like it used to be. It's a 91 so never going to be great. It gets warm though and no leaking issues, no temp issues on car eit...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Alternator belt snapped
Just thought I'd post and say all fixed now. New alternator belt on and tensioned nicely. The air con belt was a pain to get off, so I cut it off. Couldn't work out how to get the a/c belt tensioner loose. What bolts do you undo? BGB isn't that helpful apart from one diagram in AC17 I think. The pul...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Auto to manual conversion?
I've seen a nice MR2 for sale, but it's an automatic. Is it a costly procedure to change it to a manual? I'm hoping it'd just be a case of doing a straight swap? Can anyone fill me in on how much a manual box in good condition should cost? The car is a rev 3. Cheers! Hi John, If you don't go for th...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Alternator belt snapped
Guys you've all been really helpful thanks!!! My disability is dodgy leg muscles - cerebral palsy to be precise - but I can get down and change wheels etc, so should be able to tackle this. I just didn't want to get a mobile mech out if I could do it myself. Sounds like I'll have to take wheel off a...
