On my G limited, i put in about £35 to fill and was getting about 350 miles, so i guess its about right.

Buying a turbo!
As my G limited is still in the garage after 4 months i've decided to go for a tubby.Seen a few but would like some help and advice on what to check and look for when viewing cars.

I did kindda spray it, wiped it, and stuck the roof back on. did I need to leave it exposed a little longer? wipe it in? [/quote]
Yep, needs spraying well then leaving to dry properley, best done in the summer of course!!!

You have a few choices here... 1. eccentric rod guides: i think these tighten up the seal when u pull the lever.2. Silicone lubricant: rejuvenates the rubber.3. Silicon sealant and clingfilm(how to on someone elses post). 4. some cable inserted inside the rubber to make it 'stand out' more or..........

Not sure how to remove the panel, but the side strip is held on by three screws i think, one under the wheel arch which you have found and the other 2 in the boot under the lining. hth

Mine made a similar noise so investigated to see the toothed coil inside the motor had snapped.If u can find one in a scrappy,cool.Otherwise it will be £30 ish from Mr T. good luck!

There must be somethin out there you can use to dissolve the glue and not damage the dash, not sure what though.How about just heating the glue up with a hairdryer and see if it will come off that way?

The idle should normally drop slightly. as kelvyn says it may need re-gassing, but wouldn't a 91 car use R12? This is the evil stuff with all the CFCs so you can't get it anymore. You can use a newer refrigerant but you will likely have to replace your seals throughout the system, so you may be loo...

I've got a 815is one( i think!) and its pretty good, it DOES go off at almost anything but its has saved me on a few occasions!

Got one from Argos years ago, its been fitted on every car i've had. Its a universal so go for one of those!
