[Mk2] [NA] 3SGE Starter Motor Removal

Hi, Wondering if I am missing something with regard to removing a starter motor? Or is there some hint or tip which I need? I've undid the two main bolts which go through the flange on the starter motor into the gearbox housing. Is there another bolt or fixing somewhere I am missing? The starer moto...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Below average MPG

Quick question RE the Lambda sensor. Will this still make a difference if the car is de-catted? The economy on my NA is not the greatest either and I did see by reading the forums that the lambda could be at fault but wasn't sure if it was relevant on a decatted car?

Thanks.

Re: IMOC-UK Club stand this year at TOTB 8!!**PAYMENT DETAILS ADDED**

My bro and a couple of friends have been going to TOTB now for 3 years. We were planning on coming down for this year although it's not finalised yet. I'll give them a chivvy along and if we are going I might bring the 2 along and park in the IMOC area.

Will get back to you ASAP.

Cheers,

Steve.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] WARNING LIGHTS ON????

Alright? I had a similar problem mate! Turned out my alternator was goosed too. I took the old one to my local auto sparky and they tested it. They said it was still charging but you had to horse lots of revs through it so I was always having to manually charge my battery. In the end I had to fork o...

My NA's not really suited to drag racing just now! Maybe someday

My bro and a few friends are making our annual pilgrimage down to TOTB. This will make it the 4th year in a row. I'll come check out Team IMOC and say hello. :D

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Strange, Strange, Strange! Looking for advice!

Have you checked your wires to see if your getting the right amount of voltage, take out the plug that connects to the alternater (3 pin if I remember correctly) and check your getting a reading above 12 volts on all 3 with a volt meter, if your not getting 12v then the wiring is at fault. . Correc...

[Mk2] [NA] Strange, Strange, Strange! Looking for advice!

Hi, Had a few problems with the electrics on my 1992 Rev 2 G-Limited recently. Been doing a lot of searching on the IMOC and MR2OC forums but have not found anything similar to my random problem. I’m hoping that someone else might have come across something similar! My car had been run fine up until...

[Mk2] [NA] Parts Advice and Part Numbers

Hi all, Been doing a lot of searching of the forums recently but I can't seem to find the answers I'm looking for. I'm sure someone will prove me wrong though. 1.) Does anyone know the Toyota part number for the alternator pivot bolt? Mine appears to be missing and this has caused my alternat...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Rotten Chassis brace? - Help Required

Thanks for the advice guys. There is a Toyota garage just round the corner from my work so I'll maybe just pop in there and order a couple. Just out of interest does anyone know if uprated/aftermarket braces are available? I think they're available for the Mk3 but haven't come across any for the Mk2...

[Mk2] [NA] Rotten Chassis brace? - Help Required

Hi, Can any of you tell me what the brace highlighted in the picture is called? http://img397.imageshack.us/img397/5363/enginebayemptymh0.th.jpg Is it replaceable? If so where can I get a couple as the ones on my G-Limited a rotten with a capital R. I guess they're not essential or safety critical a...
