My car has just had its clutch done and the guy at the garage said the speedo sender is corroded? The part that goes into the gearbox is okay, but the plug in part is knackered, are these available separately? Also my turbo gauge in the dash is not working, but my aftermarket pillar gauge does? I have just received this clutch with part number T110093, instead of an Exedy one.
I'm just wondering if it is sufficient in doing the job without exploding?
The make I received was named Solid Ace.

Same here, I ordered mine from a company on Ebay, and no Exedy details are on the clutch, only the T110093 code on the box, with Solid Ace on it. Not sure on that brand. Have I been bumped ? !
I've bought some secondhand shocks for my car, so earlier I set about stripping the springs and top mounts off. One of the front came off with ease, but the other, when I removed the top nut, would not budge at all :( Does anyone have any tips on how to get them off? The top mount is bu88ered anyway...
Has anyone considered Carbon wrapping their wheels? I was on my way home from work yesterday, and a company local to me that does window tinting etc has a Saab full of advertising, but the wheels had a Carbon effect on them ? ? I'll try and get a pic next time I'm going past to see what you think.....
Just bought a replacement set of black bilsteins for my Turbo, and they came with green Tein springs all round.
Are they better over standard, also are they worth much?
Thanks
Tony
Hi Dan, I've been looking on this suject for a few months, and it appears that the bilsteins are not rebuildable as they are sealed.
Try to find replacements, but new ones are expensive !
Just wondering if its worth doing instead of a respray, and if it'll look any good afterwards, and if I can live with it....
