I guess that makes it less to worry about Bob?
I use the car everyday for work, so dont really get a chance to strip it and fix it the way I'd prefer....

Oil In Intercooler

I have noticed a lot of oil in my intercooler, although not thick and black, there is still some there.

What could be the cause of this?

Pin snapped in plug

I need to replace my reverse switch, but the pin from the old one has snapped in the plug.
Is there a way of getting them out without damaging the plug? :thumleft:

Re: Worst thing a garage has done to your car?

I always empty my car when it gets jobs done, other things such as sensors left hanging, earth straps not put back on, oil leaks as it was overfilled, speedo sensor broken on removal...... Only one garage I really trust and I'll be going back to them in the future after trying various others that ar...

Re: Oil Leak

From what I can see, there is a slight crack on the inlet manifold.

On the possibilities you have listed, are they difficult to tackle?

I'll also PM you about the plug I asked about, I just havent got 2 mins to myself at the minute.

Re: Oil Leak

Looks like its coming from the turbo area. I've checked the oil level again, and it has seemed to level out, so maybe its only the excess that has escaped as no more leaks have appeared on the floor....

Fingers crossed its ok :thumleft:

Re: Oil Leak

I'm going to get under it now and have a look. Would it have anything to do with the recent clutch change?
