Re: [All] [Generic] Generic Brand Car Stereo's - your verdict?
I bought a all singing all dancing dvd player/mp3 screen etc etc and it didnt do anything very good, was very ackward to use, the front didnt come off, I sold it a fornight later and then it broke on the lad about a week after that. I used to spend thousands on car audio(used to compete in the IASCA...

I changed my cat for a decat pipe today, started at 10.30am, washed the car, used the silcone trick to stop the tbar from leaking, changed my front brake pads, painted my calipers front and rear, cleaned my white wheels up which were seriuosly pitted with brake dust off the previous owner(fairy powe...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] tyre problem
this happened on one of my cars, wheels were new, tyres were new, just kepp going almost instantly flat every now and then, started to get paranoid thinking some one was following me around and doing it. In the end they put some glue stuff round the rim what they normally use on rusty steelys and I ...

Re: new respray pics - audi white/black & red advans
looks like you're doing a good job. flat colours don't need lacquer but it does make it shinier, but I find lacquer hard to use sometimes being an amateur. you could buy a D/A (random orbital polisher) with some different grade cutting pads, and some meneze (spelling is something like that) intensiv...

Re: [All] [Generic] Best windscreen cleaner...?
I normally use autoglyms fast glass but every now and then I clean the windows with soapy water(washing up liquid), dry them with a chamois which leaves them ok-ish but then clean with the fast glass which brings them up great again, just got to wash them every now and then to prevent the build up o...

the megs stuff you can buy in the likes of halfords etc Ive never been too impressed with, they're ok but never 'the best stuff ever' like some people call it. I think SRP + EGP is about the best stuff you can find on the shelves to use my hand. I got a G220 off the girlfriend for valentines day lol...
