Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] am i going mad! cant fit rev2 strut engine brace on my rev5?
they look like strengthening plates for the top of the turret, all of the previous revisions didnt have them, so in theory there shouldnt be any harm in removing them top fit the brace(which should do the same job too)

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Rev 3 to Rev 2 light conversion
Looks nice, Im glad theres not just me that likes the rev 2 rear lights, I prefer the rev 1/2 spoiler too, sames goes for the pop up headlights that people tell me they're dated, I think they just add to the character ![Cool 8)](./images/smilies/icon_cool.gif)

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Is this bad
It idles around 900rpm (off the top of my head), although it is a little rough, it may be down to the blown flexi that Im not getting fixed till the end of the month(by rough I mean makes the car vibrate not really hunting) it also makes alot of tssh noises when i back off, like a quiet dump valve, ...

Re: JAE 2009! Discussion Thread
Hmmm...bit dubious on two JAE's. It will end up as just the southern people going to Mersea and just the Northern people going to the one 'oop north'. It would halve the attendance figures for some of the clubs and take away the magic of an 'Annual JAE meet', where the whole idea was to bring club ...

Re: Engine Shroud with Dual 11" Spals
As Ive said on another site Im very interested, but have another question lol, what is the trigger for switching the fans on? Do you have them on a switch and just switch them on when you want, or do they run all the time, or are they running on the same switch that switches the intercooler fan on?

If they wont shift, and you're thinking about ripping the heatshield off, then just snap the bolts holding it on, Im suprised you havent snapped them already if youve been trying to get them off.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
