Can't say I've noticed any differences. I had the same trouble as you. Check whether the bonnet is on square as this caused mine not to shut. Also get a torch and look at where the bonnet meets the catch. You should have some tolerance in the mounting bracket to allow you to move the bracket about b...

Given the weather we've had the cold could have just killed the battery. If you have a charger just put the battery on charge overnight. Otherwise, give it a jump and a run around the block for 20-30 mins. Then see if the battery is still toast.

Are you able to call the AA to get it towed? You should be able to get them to tow the car back home.

I have searched around. To anyone who has brought the fibre-glass wings, how do these compare weight wise to the steel ones? Is there much of a weight difference?
