I'm interested to know what a difference there is between 400 and 550hp :) I'll certainly try and enter Brighton next year, as long as I can transfer all my suspension across in time and get a cage fitted. This car had 400Bhp at one point. But now it has over the 530lbs of Torque it feels ridiculou...

What traction control system are you using?
It's built into Syvecs ECU mate.

Thanks for your remarks everyone. I may have granny shifted 1st to 2nd a bit as you can see by the nose dipping. There wasn't really any need for gearbox breaking shifts on the day. Santa Pod is on the cards, When I eventually get the super upgraded Driveshafts. :thumleft: Now to persuade him to get...

I would like to give my thanks to ryan, for my MR2's first Mapping session with the Syvecs ECU. I'm really excited about the possibilities this has opened up for our project car. I've entered a new era of tuning and upgrading. The Syvecs has given me peace of mind for the huge protection it gives my...

Re: £15 = 50 miles - Poor MPG
My Corsa 1.2 16v I use for work gets £15 a week of normal unleaded, And this only gets me 90 to 100 miles.
So I can easily believe that's right.
I'm so addicted to this board, I'm using someone's laptop during my lunch break. LOL

Well there have been people who have run more without any problems, But they seem to have put it down to being lucky!, Building a 5S practically eliminates the chance of being unlucky.

Re: Cracked block and my exit :(
:( I really feel for you mate. reading this made me relive last August. It all came flooding back to me, I'd barely run in my new 3S block, but it cracked a sleeved block. Just 1500 miles after mapping, the 450Bhp stress was too much. I was adamant even after a week, That it was the straw the broke ...

Sorry to hear that dan!, I know exactly what you've been through!. My 2nd 3s block I cracked was even sleeved, It makes no difference, If the casting isn't up to it, then it won't last..
