yeah but can it be done without rebuilding the head just cleaning the block and head surfaces with wd40 and p600 wet and dry prior to fitting the headgasket?? i would use arp bolts though!!

hi all got my winter project on the go project is more power on my rev 2! Got a charge cooler, decat, ct20b, rev3 parts and power fc! Now want 2 change headgasket so i can run 1.2 bar! Can i jus unbolt the head clean faces and put in new steel headgasket? Or do i deffo need 2 rebuild head?[/b]

i got a j reg rev 2 as well and its got abs!

thought that temp sensor only controled the intercooler fan as mine is unpluged and my rad fans run as they should! was told its best to unplug this to keep the intercooler cool!!

just about to do the st205 charge cooler on rev 2 conversion, got the core and a pump just wondered how you hold the core to the rev 2 block and how to join it to the throttle body??? ordered 20m of coolant hose a a pre rad what else might i need???

going to see how long and how much mine costs then i might make them the hardest bit so far was getting the gasket made!!!

nah ive smoothed off the rear ariel!! so have no radio at the moment so thought i could use the screen for fm radio??

what adaptor do i need to use my windscreen ariel?? the plug looks the same as the rear but is a lot smaller!!??

i got a ssqv on my rev 2 and it does not ever cut out just somtimes backfires after the dump valve has gone off and im back on the gas!! which i think sounds wicked!!! bang!!!!

what about the mounting braket? Oh and wats these turbos like?

it is possible to fit an external wastegate + screamer on a ct20b?? and yes its just for the noise (sad i know!!) i love it!!! what would i need screamer, pipe 38mm wastegate, and some sort of manifold adaptor flange (can i make this myself a i am a decent welder) and remove existing internal wasteg...

got £500 to spend on my rev 2 turbo engine what shall i get?? it so far has
ebc, hks filter, mines ecu and exhaust from the cat. i was thinking xs power intercooler (+ fan e.c.t) de-cat and ct20 turbo?? what do you think??
