Re: [All] [Generic] Tips for setting up open loop boost control
I have heard the same of the Power FC boost control. Might just be worth getting a basic EBC like the Profec B Spec II.

Took the car out for a little drive over the weekend as it hadnt been used for a week or so. Once warmed up I started giving it some boost and it drove fine, good power etc. On my way back I turned around and gave it full boost in 1st 2nd and 3rd then it kind of did a small misfire then there was sm...

Can you not put the 540s back in for the drive there and then change them once you are there?

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Sluggish at pulling away?
I have a MR2 MK2 G-Limited import. The main problem i seem to be having is that unlike my old MR2 there seems to be a luggish reponse when first pulling away. The revs seem to be responding correctly with acceleration pedal but the car seems to pull away poorly, any ideas please, Andy Are the revs ...

A small bit of flutter doesnt hurt, but normally you only have to tighten or loosen the spring to adjust how it dumps.

Sadly, they're gone now, as well as the rolling road. That was one option but I hadn't heard of them doing any MR2s.
Doesnt surprise me, they were very expensive and not that good.

I love my Haywood and Scott, makes a lovely sound, but not too loud when cruising. Not cheap though, around £600.

Re: Should I Buy This MR2?
I'm not sure to be honest, the thing concerning me the most is the whining/whistling noise coming from the engine. It changes in pitch with the acceleration. I've read that it might be something to do with the alternator or too many ground wires but not entirely sure. Does it only do it with the ra...

Re: Quick xbox question..
It's all about the mods. You gotta get the best car you can for the given criteria of the race. Forget decals until you can race online. is it just me or does this game give you no sense of speed at all... when ur going 100mph and have to brake for a corner it just doesnt feel like it at all. now n...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Coilovers have arived - with pics = possible group buy
As a general observation, the quality of chinese stuff has improved greatly in the last couple of years. If a chinese company is copying an existing product they usually make a pretty decent job of it. The problem is that they don't usually understand how the thing they're making really works. As a...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] k20 spuercharged engine!
I thought, traditionally, superchargers increase low-end poke? How would that work out with the TVIS? I suppose the supercharger would fill out the bottom end and then the TVIS would take over higher up but, I dunno. Whats TVIS got to do with it? You'd be changing the inlet manifold too :-k Course ...

Re: Lips on Xbox - Mic delay
There's a delay on Singstar on the PS3 too, much bigger than there ever was on the PS2 unfortunately :( There'll always be some kind of a delay as the game has to process what you're singing (what note and what key) before passing it out of the speakers. Strange thing is that the PS2 singstar has d...
