The lad selling is a genuine nice guy , the car is tatty but looked solid , if you buy it and you do the work your self e.g weld in new rear arch kit and repaint the car i would budget a least 700 - 800 pounds a...

NO you can't it wont fit the 1A foam or the skin i'm afraid . I will put a post up for you on the mk1 club someone on there brought a 1A bar by mistake and might still have it .

Hi i have the standard wheels to fit to car and the interior is total standard its even got the original radio still fitted .

Well its back on the road ,i was going to wait until 1 of may but after cleaning and polishing it today and the sun was out i couldn't resist it and taxed the old girl . Take the alternator belt off and run it again ( not to long as your water pump wont work ) . it sounds like a bearing to me .

Hi , it will 100% be the thermostat being at fault , what make is the thermostat as i have found in the past different makes cause the systems you are having . if i remember right first line parts did not work right but blue print parts did .

i think free lander fit as well , Steve brought one from tatton show and its now fitted to his car ,he paid 25 pounds for a recon ( looked like new ) off a stall .

ok mate your not a novice then when it comes to servicing your car which is now a cause for concern . i would check water isn't getting past the bleed screw on the engine ( will show coolant in the clear pipe and fill header tank until it over flows , i have had this problem before when changing coo...
