is there a way to pull a fuse to the antenna motor, or unplug it?

I pulled away the boot carpet and its buzzing like hell, even with the keys out of the ignition - and it shocked me when i touched the motor.

My radio antenna no longer extends when the radio is on - im guessing the recent cold wet weather has killed it somehow. are there any diagnostics i can do to check if the motor is working? Is there a way to manually make it extend to test? car is a rev 3 turbo, and i havent been working on it or do...

im guessing you took pictures of the chassis with the body off?

because for 1600 it better be less rusty than the statue of liberty!

rev3 turbo with 850cc injectors and a power FC...265 miles to a full tank yesterday at 4k rpm in top most of the time...

when my rev3 turbo was imported in 1998 (!) it was quite a pricey and rare car. I wonder how many people were caught out by a "hairdressers" MR2 back then - remember that was when a VR6 golf was considered quick! As has been said, high yen = flood of poorer quality cars, and collapse in us...

Dont worry fella, you're not alone - I binned mine on the slick roads this morning #-o Not only that, but i managed to fall of the road while going in a straight line. I pull out to pass a Sunday driver on a straight NSL country road, but get too hard on the power before straightening up the wheels....

if your asking "is a rev3 MR2 turbo any good" then I would say yes, it is - but then again this is the owners club, so we arent going to hate it are we?

Just pop along to a decent import dealer and arrange a test drive?

they are vehicle specific, and i think rev1/2 are different to rev3+ as well?
