that sounds too cheap for an MR2 power FC. Are you sure its for this car?
expect to pay about £600 for a Power FC with commander.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Best EMS / ECU for 350BHP???
Power FC, everytime. Ryan G rates them above Link for reliability, and who the f*ck am I to argue with him about mapping  Not as much fine tuning available as on high-end ECUs but for a basic, safe map with good power, you can't go wrong. /edit: and I'm running a very similar setup to yours, ...

Re: Front mount intercooler?
Its not a very good idea. The pipework is too long for air to flow through without adding massively to lag. On the dragstrip i suppose it might be better, especially if you ran the pipework straight through the cabin like Phoenix Power did, but it would be awful on the street. Front mount chargecool...

Re: Fuel consumption on a modified rev3 tubby...
Sorry to thread ressurrect, but i thought i would ask the question - do bigger injectors have a fairly chunky effect on mileage? I'm running 850cc squirters and a TD06 to get 350bhp at 1.2bar, mapped by Ryan, but it seems to drink a fair bit more than before when cruising at 80mph on light throttle....

Re: SIIIICK looking MR2!!
Thanks for the link to my blog. Glad you (mostly) liked the car. You kids spend a lot of time debating whether something is or isn't "chav" (whatever the hell that means), don't you? Ah, so the owners is here - i guess he can clear up whether the front wing is functional, and who ma...

Re: 300 bhp ?
basically, mapping is great but you need a standalone ECU. So budget £600-1000 for a Power FC or a Link, plus £200 for mapping. If he is just mapping a piggyback for a few quid, he is broadly talking out of his bumhole. Piggybacks are OK at adding fuel, but the stock ECU runs massively rich and need...

Re: 300 bhp ?
Air filter doesnt really do anything - the stock setup is excellent. "He who must not be named" does a very very good (decat) downpipe - probably the best you can easily buy. Exhaust is easy, just check the sale section here for the style / noise you want there are lots available. I recomm...

Re: SIIIICK looking MR2!!
Guys, some of you really are missing the point. That car has more aero thought than most MR2's i've seen on this site. Dantheman......... you comments are quite frankly ill founded and ignorant. Aerodynamically this car would run rings around your yellow banana! ;) Mikejc Can you share the calcs an...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] why doesnt my Tial flutter
if you mean the fluttering sound you get on overrun like a WRC car, its not really a sound you want, its your turbo stalling. Your recirc valve / blow off valve is built to prevent this from happening.
It causes a lot of wear to your turbo.
