would this explain lack of performance ? Possibly, if the temp sensor is seeing air and not coolant, it'll overfuel (as it'll likely think the engine is still cold) all the time. If it's been run dry of coolant then the HG could well be shot, which will definitely lead to poor performance. And as L...

The plate recess makes it look quite reminiscent of the Mitsubishi Starion, I think.

Just a random observation :)

Re: Recommendations for tuning workshop garage in London

Cool :) No use to me yet (since there are no engine mods on the '2), but might well come in useful when I get the Nissan fixed (being optimistic there.. when , not if  ) Plus markiii (on here & ROC), who owns a turbo'ed Roadster, is about 20 mins from there over Hatfield way, might be handy...

Re: Recommendations for tuning workshop garage in London

Ok, so about an hour from me, then.. Still probably the closest rolling road to me (well, that I could be persuaded to trust, anyway.. I think there's one closer that I wouldn't go to)

Re: Recommendations for tuning workshop garage in London

Oh yeah - forgot about that, CC zone isn't active at weekends.. D'oh!

And yep, 45 mins from me to Tottenham (according to the RAC route planner, so quite where in Tottenham that took me I have no idea ;), straight down the A4, turn left and up a bit.

Man, my directions are ace

Interesting, and only 45 mins away (granted that route would take me through the RedKen Tax Zone). Iiiiiiiinteresting.

UAV has a PM - if anyone else wants the link, give me a nudge in PM.

Not that I ever said that, of course.

Re: moving a project car

That would make sense and is something I really hadn't thought about. :? Plus, having been towed with a bar, I wouldn't like to have a rolling chassis behind me with nobody piloting it.. Moved many cars on hired trailers, though (if you can borrow a car with a towbar) - you can hire them for as lit...
