Re: Fuel regulator on fuel rail not aligning correctly.

UPDATE

Just to say that i have fixed the issue. There is a nut on the rugulator that has to be tightened when you install your regulator. Mine was stuck. Some WD40 and a blow from the hammer helped.

Thanks for looking!

Re: Whats best course of action..help please

I guess the only way you can tell what the engine output is, to put it on a dyno and take it from there.... otherwise its very hard to be precise on the performance and engine output.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Camshafts advice needed please...

Hi there

As far as I am aware the cams are stock. I dont have any history on the car and cant really tell you what the previous owner did etc.

I can tell you, before the head gasket was changed, the car was running great and i had no issues with it at all.

hope thatr helps ??

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Once again... active stereo problem!

forgot to say...... if your 12V+ was drawn from ignition your aerial would be up even before you had started your car and your amp would be on even before you switched on the radio / cd etc.... besides, you will get a loud thump from your amp when HU is switched on.

NOT professional method !

Cheers

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Once again... active stereo problem!

You can do, but its NOT the best way. Its best to have the 12v+ switch coming from your head unit when the ignition on your car is turned on. Your head unit has to control the amp. A decent head unit will have an aerial 12v+ output wire and an AMP 12v+ output .... Just check and make sure thats all....

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Once again... active stereo problem!

hi there it really depends on what OEM audio set up you have. If you dont have an built in amp then you can be certain that the HU has an amp built in. Otherwise if you have Amps built in then all your speaker wires will be comming from the power amp and also for the woofer, the wires will be coming...
