Ha ha baker .... honestly, if i had known that Rogue were going to charge me as much as £420.00 to get my bloody car started which some random mechanic in a small work shop could have done under £100.00 !! i would never have taken my car there !! I did tell them to let me know what the cost would be...

Gentlemen, thank you very much for informative replies. When i had some work done on the engine it was taken to Rouge. They put running in oil in to the engine. Hi there...
I just did an engine oil change with filter 4 days ago...... today, i had a look at the dipstick and noticed that the oil is dark.
I took some oil from the sump to my surprise the colour was like dark trecle.
This cant happen in less than 20miles of driving can it ???

Hi guys
I did some work on my car today..... took the oil presure switch out, got wifey to start the car and oil was squirting out fast.
Could the sensor be faulty or the wrong one...???

[Mk2] [Turbo] Engine Oil light comes on after 30secs or so....
Can anyone help me here ? My engine oil light comes on after about 30 seconds with engine running. There is oil in the engine as i have checked it on the dipstick. I have also done a complete oil change and filter change. The oil i am using is 10-40 semi synthetic. Can anyone help me out on this ple...

Problem solved
Just to let everyone know that i have sorted the problem out and i have the engine running and it dosnt die on me. Just to recap........ I had taken the old turbo unit off as well as the exhaust manifold etc etc I had put everything back as i should have done apart from i had taken out the stock dum...

Hi there I have checked the error codes and there are none stored. I have also changed the ECU to see if it was faulty etc but that made no difference. I would take the battery out and give it a good charge and then reinstall the battery.
Clean the terminals etc and then it shouldbe ok.
Even a new(ish) battery can break down due to how it is used or not used.
If it still dosnt charge..... get it tested from kwick fit etc...

Can anyone help me please....? I have just reinstalled a new turbo on to my car. Put back everything as it should be. No leaks etc etc ... The problem is that the car starts no problems.... then it just dies. Normally, the car engine would be reving around 1500 rpm and then as the engine slows down ...

can anyone help me on this one.... I found lots of brown depositis in my cooling system.
I need to give the cooling system a good clean out before topping it with antifreeze etc...
Can anyone recommmed a good cleaning product that can loosen the crap from my cooling system...?

Thats right, my car only has one fan and NO air con.
I feel that my issue may be a faulty wire and thus the fan is on constantly.
