Thats right. The issue is that with the 3sgte engine i would like to have the 3sgte display cluster etc and not really be using the 3sge (non turbo) cluster. When i do use the turbo cluster it dosnt work correctly, firstly, the turbo dial goes all the way up as this would be for the dial to measure ...

From what i am aware off..... the previous owner had changed the engine loom upto where the passaengers footwell is.
Now, i am NOT sure if the loom is standard from that point onwards to the display cluster or not ...?

How can you tell if your gear box has LSD or NOT if the engine you have in your car has been changed...??
My original engine was a 3sge and now i have a 3sgte engine but am not sure if the gear box has lsd or not ??

I need some help here, i am sure its nothing serious (i hope) but i still need to ask you guys... On my car when i remove the air pipe going to the carb from the intercooler there is traces of oil. I have traced this back to the breather pipe from the engine case that goes from the engine to the air...

yes you are correct about the resistance needed for the circuit.
I have an old sump cover with the sensor on there so i will take that off and measure the resistance and use the apprioate value resistor to bridge the connector.
Will let you guys know what happens

Thanks for that.... just one last question.... What does the plug look like that is meant to be in the oil level sensor...? Is it a three pin or two pin plug...? is there a picture availiable ?? I was thinking of finding the plug and then bridging it with some wire, so at least the light wont come o...
