[Mk2] [Generic] Brake sqeal
I have started to get a sqealing noise coming from my rear brakes and when put my foot on the brakes the noise go"s.
Not had chance to have a look yet but any ideas what it might be.

Fitted some gear linkage bearings now makes a lot of differance and now the car is all running sweet .

Getting the mr2 back today the work it had done was
Another gear box fitted
New clutch fitted
Cam belt kit fitted
Two weeks is a long time with out it.

Well i told them to change my gear box so u have to take the starter motor out to do that so i spose u could say i told them to do it.
But i just dont like the way they just went and orderd another starter motor with out phoning me to tell me whats going on.

How can you break it
The mr2 is having some work done and phoned up today to see how they are getting on with it and they told me they have broken the starter motor getting it out and a new one going to cost me £80. Now do you think this is possable or are they trying to pull a fast one used the garage before with no pr...

Just wanted to no if the wheel nuts from 14" rev1 alloys would fit rev2 15" alloys.

Dropped the car off today to the garage he will
Fit another gear box
Fit clutch
Fit cam belt kit
all for around £400 thats with him supplying the parts as well,gearbox i already have.

How easy is it to remove the gear box and how much is a garage likely to charge to do the job its a N/A.

Took the bushes off today they look ok, tried moving the gear stick by moving the bit where the bushes sit but it would not move the gear stick over to the left. So am i right in thinking that i need a new gear box, if it was the bushes surely i could still move the gear stick to the left by moving ...

The bearings in the link do they fit all revisions or have i got to order ones just for rev1.
