heat gun, as mentioned may get the paint too hot if you're not uber careful.
make sure its a good hairdryer - not a crap little one thats no better than a warm summer breeze - thats the trick

Heat Gun? Just use a hairdryer - I have removed a number of decals of the years with one of these.
