Re: The importance of coolant colour?
i wouldnt worry too much about the orange colour. my 2 is running absolutely fine and when i look down my header tank or in my reserve tank, i see orange stains to the inside of the pipes etc. It may be that he has just been filling it up with tap water rather than antifreeze mix and distilled water...

Re: How to set coilovers higher???
im not sure on this, but if you measure one 1 inch of thread and tighten it up by that, it should raise it by one inch.
But the other thing to do is just do a little bit, then put the wheel back on, put the car on the floor again and look

Re: How to set coilovers higher???
you should have 2 rings with notches at the bottom of your spring. the bottom one will need undoing, simply by turning it with the key you have (probably anti clockwise like normal, but look at the thread). As soon as this one is loose, you can turn the ring above it, in your case, pushing the sprin...

best way would be to part exchange your cusco coilovers with my standard black bilstein suspension setup, then your car will be "unlowered"

Re: Leaky t-bars
i dont think ive got leaky seals, because my car is never wet on the inside when its standing. The only time i get wet is when im driving in the rain and the wipers push water off the screen to the A pillar which then comes in through the top of the window and consequently onto me. I think its becau...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Setting up a Blitz DSBC
ive tried them both way rounds but no real difference. Am i right in thinking that the correct way round is turbo hose goes to OUT and hose from the actuator goes to IN?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Setting up a Blitz DSBC
ok fitted the dsbc today, all the fitting went fine, mounted in the space where my clock used to be. Done a bit of reading and most people said that a gain of 5 would be a good starting position and that a ratio of 60 would give roughly about 1 bar of boost. so set it up to these and my car struggle...
