i have also had this thought. i looked into (for a different car) once and it was looking to cost around £2000 for the conversion. which is a shame as if you had the money, you could have brilliant fun in the MR2 \:D/

£95 isnt bad at all to replace a head gasket, that sounds pretty promising

I'l know to look out for that in the future.

the coolant pipes that have been ordered is an 8 piece Samco silicone hose set. Is this all of the coolant pipes or is there more do you think?

Steel head gasket? i take it these are better than standard ones, do they last longer?

relating to the whole car mainly. In terms of the coolant system, i cant see their being alot else able to go wrong, the heater matrix is new, the thermostat is new, the coolant pipes are new. i ahve a Greddy Power Extreme Twin exit on my 2, what is everyones view on these exhausts?

That is some great feedback guys, thank you :D in terms of the tyres its running yokohamas, and from what i know, theyre a pretty good road going tyre in terms of boost, no its not standard, i think its running at about 12 or 13 psi, which no doubt i shall feel when accelerating out of a corner, and...

I was just wondering, what can be done to the Turbo Engines to get more horsepower? the MR2 that im getting has 270 bhp with the help of an uprated cooler, Apexi induction kit, decat exhaust system.

What else can be done on a relatively fair budget to bring the power up?
