Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Funny Gurgling noises!!
its quite simple mate. Theres no set amount of how much you need. you will need as much as the system is empty. Its basically having your bleeding pipes from the rad and heater matrix higher than your header cap. make sure your car is level. put your heaters on hot, open both valves at the front and...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Will these wheels fit?
Ive just been told that the sizes of the wheels are as follows:
9J 38 rear
and
8J 35 front
do they seem ok for the MR2? i thought they might be a bit wide, but in terms of width and offset, would people say they would fit?

Re: Paid to drive MR2, good news?
what exactly is stopping you from getting a cheap car AND keeping the mr2? i do exactly the same, i have a small fiesta that cost me £400 with a years tax and test, drive that to work and drive the 2 at weekends. a small engined car will cost you very little on insurance, and you may even be able to...

Re: what order to do a rev 3 conversion?
thats not an option, ive spent so long with this car and lots of money getting new HG done, water pump, cambelt etc, it seems a waste to sell my pride and joy and get another unknown 2 where i could have the same frustrating troubles again. if its too hard to do i may just slap a ct20 and IC on and ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] More boost plz
cant speak for the Rev3 but ive disconnected it on my rev2 (and DSBC still wont set up lol) basically, if you jack up the rear drivers side, and crawl under from the back of the car, looking up under your inlet manifold there will be a blue canister, next to this there will be a metal unit with 2 pi...

what order to do a rev 3 conversion?
i have a rev 2 turbo, and want more power that is relatively cheap and easy to do (not after huge power gains). So ive decided on a rev 3 conversion. Now the mods i have already are decat, nur spec, apexi filter, EBC, FCD, Rev 3 MLS Headgasket. Am i right in thinking i need a CT20, rev 3 injectors (...

yep ive noticed that, with my vsv recently disconnected, first feels much the same, but i can normally reach just under full boost in second which is different to before, which will therefore use more fuel

[Mk2] [Turbo] Rev 2 - Does anyone have blown up diagrams of ALL the coolant pipes
I bought a Samco, 8 piece coolant hose kit for my Rev2. Ive fitted most of the pipes, but im left with about 4 pipes that i have no idea where they go. theres a 2 little ones with specific bends in, one very small 90 degree bend and a slightly larger one (i will take a pictur of what i have left whe...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Turbo - to have seals done or to replace that is the question!
Im in the same situation, except i have a ct26 thats on the way out. do i go for CT20 or hybrid CT26. Tempted to go for CT20 as they are relatively cheap and a straight swap. however i understand the power is smoother than the ct26, and i love the surge of power you get from them. (sorry to hijack y...
