I'd not wear Nankangs as they're budget but then i'm a tyre snob and will only wear michelin, yokohama or pirellis as a rule.

You should work out your average MPG sometime, fill her up, reset the trip then next time you fill her up you can work it out by how many miles you've done and how much you get in. While i've no idea about your pipe work I can tell you losing all brakes after pumping the pedel when the engine is stalled is fairly common, happens in my 2 and previous cars... i can't quite remember the thinking behind it though.

Happened on my MG, only at high speeds and more if i was lightly turning to the left. Tracking sorted that one out.

I actually managed to buy a g-limited with a working ariel!... untill the battery died when the ariel was on it's way up.

It sort of paniced, dropped itself down and hasn't moved since. Rats.

My G-Limited fires all the fans on full whack when i put the key in and turn, lasts about 30 seconds then stops. Not really worked out why.. or if it's normal. Once the car is started everything is how it should be (fans off, then slow, then fast)

Regassing is around £70 but i didn't think the engine would idle up if she was empty of gas as i thought there was a safety pressure cutoff...

Re optimax, mine's an import thus meant to run on 100ron. I've run it on 95 and she didn't seem to like it.
