Re: How awfully frustrating - Help needed!!

check your excess out mate. most of the time you will have to pay out the first £250 but it depends on the company. when claiming on insurance you will have to pay the excess to the company carrying out the repair and the insurance company will pay the rest. if this is the case i am sure the thievi...

Re: What's your reason to feel crap today?

We were taking the Red MK1 out tonight, following the 'rents down to Hertford way. On the M25 and it started juddering - the wheel was juddering too. Carried on (gingerly) as it was then ok for a bit but it intermittently came on and off. So, we pulled into a big shopping centre and it turned out th...

Red MK1 A13 - just up from Stanford-Le-Hope 10.30am today

Spotted a red MK1 going London bound just up from the entry slip from Stanford on the A13. Spotted the headlights go down which was what caught my eye.

I was in our Red MK1 going to Basildon. Didn't see if it was a T-Bar or Sunroof model.

Re: Regular Essex Drive and Meet - 9th August 2010

Hi All

I'm not gonna make this one (again - sorry I havent made any yet). I took the red MK1 over the channel and back yesterday and think I've worn it out lol. Nah it's not idling too smoothly now so don't fancy risking it up the A12 tonight.

Re: possible bargain for someone?

Damn thats in the same County as us, but we got a helios blue t-bar last Sunday from Wiltshire with a higher mileage than that but a very good price.

Otherwise might've gone for that but two MK1's is enough!

Re: What fuel do you guys use?

We use 99Ron in both our MK1's - they seem to run better on it, tried 95 ron and it seemed to run quite rough. At the local Tesco's 99Ron is 111.9p so thats even better. The other Toyota's that we have always have 95Ron to drink - at the end of the day it's personal choice, but we won't stop putting...

Re: Rainham Ferry lane, mk1 red

Well I use Ferry Lane daily & go past Dagenham Ford to get to the A13 on the way home - but then I'm usually in the Yaris and that doesn't stand out at all!
