Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] boot mounted intercooler

The bootmount in my car pushes air down through the i/c and out of the hole in the boot floor- considering helping the boot breath with some subtle mods (really dont want to use a scoop). Only issue sucking air from under the car is the exhaust right under the i/c- not an ideal source of cold air! T...

Re: Current Financial Climate - whats the implications on MR2 owning?

If you've got the cash spare and are planning to buy at some point anyway, I reckon now is the time to get the most for your money.

It's a shame it probably means someone else is losing out having to sell their pride and joy for less than it's worth in times of difficulty though.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Rev 3 turbo hw long to run in?

I'm half way running in a fully built engine, procedure as adviced by Rogue is: 500 miles with cheap mineral oil under 4k rpm, gentle a road driving, accelerating and decelerating through the rev range, don't be afraid to use boost oil & filter change- still cheap mineral oil 500 miles under 5k ...
