I am very happy that this thread has been kept open to the public, as it just shows to me the truth about the state the forum has got into over the last few years. With the traders and some mods becoming very (sided) with one another, as much as it pains me to see Lukes name get dragged through the ...

Not had the chance to go up and see it yet, this is just from the ph...

It wont fail and MOT if it has been removed there is no check to see if airbags are fitted to a car.
It will fail if the airbag warning light does not function as is should i.e. it should come on and go off within approx 5 secs of the vehicle starting.
Sorry to hear you didnt get this sorted properly.
If you had just been able to wait a couple of days I could have sorted everything out no problems.
Make sure you give me a call next time and dont go using anymore cowboys.

+1 for the cat not being warm enough. Most cars I see that have issues with emmissions are due to the cat not being hot enough. Just becaue the the temp gauge shows warm it doesnt mean the cat is fully warmed up, did they use a oil temp sensor on the emissions test, along with a tacho for revs or wa...
This isnt even a discussion its a fact that the PSN has been crap in the past few months not just the past few days. Part no. 48044 in the picture below, they have a hole in them with flats on either side if they are not seated properly when the top nut is tightened rotate and they make lots of different wierd noises. http://www.a...
Sounds like AFM (air flow meter).
Check the electrical plug that goes to the air intake on the left of engine bay (looking from back of car) and check the flap inside the AFM isnt stuck/siezed.

It failed on CAT and lambda by the results you have. HC was fine which is unburnt fuel so spark/timing etc could be ruled out. Even after the new CAT and lambda a fitted it was only just out, thats normally a sign it wasnt quite warm enough. MAP sensor may be somehing to check. Emmissions are pain i...
