[Mk2] [NA] Anyone know where to get a plug 1/8-27NPT for a radiator?
I'm fitting a mishimoto aluminium radiator on friday and if you look at the item description they all say: "NOTE: Non-Turbo models require the purchase of plug 1/8-27NPT" Anyone know where I can get one? I'm guessing it's some kind of plug for a hole that the stock turbo radiator has and N...

Re: [All] [Generic] Goki carbon bootlid anyone had any experience on fitment?
Havent had experience with the bootlid, but I bought a second had carbon bonnet which I later found out was from EPRacing and that was a good fit with a bit of fiddling when tightening up the bolts. They are the same company who sell the goki bootlid, but not sure if they manufacture themselves or j...

Re: Test drive crash
In theory the injured passenger should still get compensation as long as the car was insured, as they are a 3rd party to the accident. If it was SORN'd the driver would get nothing probably as it would invalidate his insurance, but the insurance company will still be obliged to cover 3rd parties (an...

[Mk2] [NA] (probably silly) question about brake pads/calipers
I have a sticky caliper on my '2 and have bought 2 new (what I believe are) front calipers to replace them. I also have new discs and pads all round to go on and am just in the process of cleaning up the new calipers to paint before putting them on. However I notice having opened the box of new disc...

Re: [All] [Generic] Removing window tints
It's a b1tch to do on a cold day so use a hairdryer or heatgun as mentioned above if it's cold, on a warm/hot day most of it will peel off fairly easy if you get it started with a stanley blade and pull slowly, as you pull some off scrunch it up and keep pulling from as close to the still stuck part...

[Mk2] [Generic] Help with ISO adaptor / 15-pin connector
Ok so my new rev4 came with a toyota double din HU: http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/kk130/dave5526/IMAG0118.jpg It also has subs behind both seats. The connector that plugs in the back looks like the 15pin described on this thread: http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=87587 I have just bo...

I've had an offer of £375 on twobrutal but am looking for £425 really, otherwise I'll start breaking it in the next week or so. So anyone wanting to make an offer do so quickly :thumleft: If anyone is interested without the compomotive wheels (the 17" speeline rear wheels and stock rev3 15"...

Re: [FINALIZED] Rev2/3 Hybrid MK2 T-bar with knocking Rev 3 NA Engine - £450 ovno
Open to offers, if there's no interest soon I'll be partially breaking it and scrapping the rest, which is a shame considering the shell is in good condition bar the multi-coloured panels. Would be willing to reduce the price considerably if anyone is interested in it without some of the parts (i.e....

Re: [FINALIZED] Rev2/3 Hybrid MK2 T-bar with knocking Rev 3 NA Engine - £450 ovno
Forgot to mention, I can probably arrange for the car to be delivered by transporter for between £70-£195 depending on distance, pm me with a location and I can get a quote. I think it was going to cost me around £180 to have it delivered to Woodsport from Shrewsbury as a guide and cost me £70 from ...

Rev2/3 Hybrid MK2 T-bar with knocking Rev 3 NA Engine - £450 ovno
I bought this shell as a base for my 2gr project but now have other plans. It was a rev2 UK car originally which has had several parts from a rev3 NA uk car which had covered 80,000 miles fitted: Rev3 Engine/ancilleries Rev3 rear subframe Rev3 brakes all round Rev3 shocks Some of the rev3 bodywork (...

3sge engine weight (or 3sgte)
Anyone weighed either before? Or have a reliable source for the weight with details of what it includes (i.e. fluids, ancilleries etc).
Cheers

Re: [All] [Generic] cusco roll cage fitting help!!
I did away with the passengers sun visor and left the drivers in the down position mostly, I could put it away by forcing it past the bar though, it was a rev1 t-bar visor in my rev 3 tintop though (and no interior/roof lining in) so may be smaller than yours. The rear firewall legs should be tight,...

Re: [All] [Generic] cusco roll cage fitting help!!
are you keeping all the interior? if so it will be tight, i stripped mine out and it fitted just right. i know in the car i bought it from had all the interior but had square holes cut in the firewall carpet so the feet have a bit more room. where exactly are you having probs? it is a two person job...
